Friendship is a new Norwegian band based in Oslo whose name derives from a well known Norwegian progressive record released in 1971 by Junipher Greene. The members of Friendship hail from various musical backgrounds, each with a range of musical experience and a variety of gigs. However, their motivation is unified; to hunt the groove.

Friendship is an Oslo based power trio. The power trio rose as a musical genre in the late 60s with bands like Grand Funk, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream. Friendship inherits the energy and rawness from the genre and adds funky hooks and massive grooves. This is not a compromise, but a musical combination of the old gems and new influences. This mix leads to the fact that more and more people are being mesmerized by Friendship’s live performances. A review from Metal Hammer Magazine gave the band 8/10 saying: “Good vocal harmonies, sick drumming, funky bass, lots of groove and good guitar solos = a good vibe.”
